ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਓ ਗੱਲ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ, ਜੇੜੀ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਕਹੀ ਸੀ। ਤੇਰੇ ਦਿਤੇ ਓਨਾ ਸਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਹੂਕਾਰ ਹਾਂ , ਜੇੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਨੂ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਪਾ ਤੁਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਰਦੀ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਠੰਡੇ ਅੱਥਰੂ, ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਚ ਸਮੇਟੇ ਨੇ ਮੈ, ਜੇੜੇ ਤੂੰ ਲੈਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਤੇਰੀ ਇਕ ਚੁੰਨੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਈ ਹੈ, ਸੀਪੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ, ਜਿੰਨੂ ਓੜ ਮੈ ਸਰਾਣੇ, ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੋਇਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।   ਉਹ ਹੰਜੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਗਦੀ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੀ, ਮੁੜਕੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਹਵਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣੀ ਸੀ। ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਸਾਂਭੇ ਨੇ ਮੈ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਿਠੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ, ਜਿੰਨਾ ਜੋੜਦਾ, ਓਨਾ ਫਟਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਟੁਟਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਮੈ ਟੁਟਿਆ ਜਰੂਰ ਸੀ, ਵੱਸ ਨੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਲਿਆ ਕਿਓਂਕਿ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਓਹੀ ਮੰਜੂਰ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਏਂਗਾ, ਸਮਾਂ ਬੀਤਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਮੈ ਸਮਾਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਏਹੀ ਇਕ ਹੱਲ ਹੈ।

(ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ) ਸਰਦੀ ਦੀ ਨਵੀ ਸੇਵਰ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆ ਚੁਕਾ ਸੀ। ਰੋਜ਼ ਵਾਂਙ, ਟਰੱਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਗਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਤੇ ਓਹਨੇ ਨੁੱਕੜ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਇਕਲ ਲਾ ਦਿਤਾ।ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਲੀਤੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਖੋਲੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਜ਼ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਚੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਜਾ ਲਿਆ। ਓਹਨੀ ਦੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਧ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਆ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ। ਦੁੱਧ ਪੁਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤਬਕਾ ਚਾਅ ਦਾ ਖੱਬੀ ਗਲੀ ਦੀ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਦੇਣ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੈ ਕੋਠੇ ਧੁੱਪੇ ਖੜਾ ਕਿੰਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈ ਓਨੁ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਮਾਰੀ  "ਰਾਜੂ, ਇਕ ਚਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੀ ਫੜਾ ਜਾ"।   ਉਹ ਰੋਜ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੇ ਮੇਜ ਤੇ ਚਾਹ ਰੱਖ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ। ਮੈ ਰੋਜ਼ ਰੋਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁਫਲੀ ਲੈਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਓਦੇ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੇ ਬਹਿ ਚਾਹ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਮੁਫਲੀ ਮੁਕਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਲੰਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਮੈ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ "ਰਾਜੂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੇ"? ਤੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਂਦਾ "ਦੋ ਨੇ, ਬੜੇ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਨੇ, ਫਰਸਟ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲੋ"। ਮੈ ਕਿਹਾ "ਕਮਾਲ ਹੈ ਫੇਰ ਤੇ, ਨਾ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਤੇਰਾ"। "ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਇਹ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਆ। ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਾ ਹੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲੇ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ"।  ਮੈ ਕਿਹਾ "ਉਹ ਤੇ ਹੈ" ਤੇ ਮੈ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ। ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਥੱਲੇ ਬੜਾ ਰੌਲਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਜਾਕੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤੇ ...
